Engineering Analysis
The foundation of RMA is the development and application of advanced computational models for water resources problems. Our modeling experience includes hydrology, reservoir systems, river hydraulics, coastal and estuarine hydrodynamics, water quality, and sediment transport.

Software Development
RMA develops generalized engineering software applications, project specific numerical models, and a wide variety of data management and visualization tools. Our development capabilities include computation engines, graphical user interfaces, 2D and 3D visualization, geo-referenced mapping, client-server systems, and web applications.

Database systems are an essential part of modern environmental management systems. RMA provides both large and small scale database development and management services.

Teaming
RMA often teams with other firms providing specialized experience in numerical modeling. We can work as the project lead, study partner, or subcontractor, depending on the requirements of the project. RMA qualifies as a small business for federal contracting.

We also develop teaming relationships with public agencies where RMA provides support for an agency’s in-house use of a numerical model. For example, we can develop and calibrate a base condition model, deliver the model to agency staff, and provide technical support and guidance while agency staff uses the model to evaluate multiple alternative conditions.
